Well a fantatsic weekend was had by all. We started on the Troutbeck - slightly low and full of trees, but immensely fun. The gorge was a laugh and the low levels made the run quite technical in places. We then headed over to the Leven which could be described as pumping, before coffee in Asda and the drive to Shap.

The film night was a huge success - very busy, I spent most of the night on the door taking money and stamping hands. All the films were excellent, ours got the smallest (but still massive...) cheer! Next year we might even have time to put something decent together. We met hordes of people, both new and old, and had a great time (apart from sleeping in the cars).

Sunday led us to Langstrath Beck, my new favourite river. Jonny and I paddled down from the Upper Slabs; I didn't break any paddles; and Liam, Ness and the dog played along the river bank all the way to the car!

All in all a great weekend - roll on 2007!
Tom
