26 January 2007

Well we have returned from La Plagne safe and sound (although JB had his board stolen, and Ness, his girlfriend, broke her wrist...!). There was more ice than snow, but was still remarkable fun - an excellent resort for blue and red runs. Apparently there is more snow in Glen Coe, which is a bit upsetting...!

Even though the levels here aren't that great (although whilst we were in the very un-snowy Alps, everything here was pumping - typical luck!), JB and I did manage to get a run down the Wharfe in on Monday. We were joined by Ben, (see www.adventurex.co.uk - they run adventurous trips to exotic locations all around the world), another local paddler. It was a bit low and very cold, but fun all the same.

Hopefully it will rain soon, and we can go and do some more exploring...!
